I had an amazing time shooting new imagery for Flourish Produce, a lovely 16 acre farm located in Cambridgeshire. Established in 2017, their farming methods are based upon Regenerative Agriculture techniques that prioritise improving soil health and working to increase the wildlife and biodiversity of the farm.

Last year, fascinated by the superb beauty and incredible history of Lanzarote’s vineyards, I visited the island once again independently, to document harvest.
“Situated some 80 miles off the southwest coast of Morocco, Lanzarote — with its stunning coastline, desert-like climate and plethora of volcanoes — is the easternmost of Spain’s Canary Islands. Major volcanic activity between 1730 and 1736, and again in 1824, indelibly altered the island’s landscape and helped pave the way for an improbable sight: a vast expanse of otherworldly vineyards.
In recent years, Spain has devoted more land to vines than any other country in the world. And while the Canary Islands, more broadly, have a longstanding wine tradition — the archipelago’s wines, for example, were mentioned in several of Shakespeare’s plays — nothing could prepare me for the uniqueness of Lanzarote’s vines”.

Last August I was lucky enough to complete a hut-to-hut hike, the Alta Via 1, in the Dolomites.
“With their colossal limestone walls and gloriously green valleys, Italy’s Dolomites are home to some of the world’s most majestic scenery — and mountain huts called rifugios make it all the more accessible”.

Interview and photography with Cédric Grolet, a leading French pastry chef, for Food and Wine Mexico. This interview, conducted in Paris, is included in the art issue and it talks about how his realistic fruit pastries made him The World Best Pastry Chef 2018 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Interview and photography with one of Spain’s most talented chefs, Quique Dacosta, for Food and Wine magazine. This interview, that took place at the chef’s 3-Michelin star restaurant in Dènia (Spain), focuses on his relationship with the sea and chefs’ role in promoting sustainability.

New work (writing + photography) for Food and Wine magazine. The story, published in the Spanish edition, focuses on the young winemakers of Tenerife. When I was on the Canary Islands earlier this year, I was lucky enough to spend time with talented local wine producers. Their dedication and their love of the craft of winemaking made a deep impression on me. The feature appears in the November 2018 edition, edited in Mexico and available on newsstands now.
